Marjorie Shushan ought to know.

For over thirty-five years her chairs -- not to mention fabrics, colors, lamps, beds and rugs – have transformed the lives of hundreds of devoted clients. And, now, for the first time, the renowned, international interior decorator is offering her own small, but exquisite, line of select furniture: staples for people with style.

“I was getting so many calls about my furniture that was published in ‘Architectural Digest’ -- ‘where do I buy that chair?’-- “that I decided to start making them myself -- if only to insure the integrity of both design and manufacturing. With the exception of the ‘Charles Chair,’ every piece is based on things I found from New Orleans to New York to Paris. Each is named after someone I know or a place I’ve lived, and conjures up some very fond memories."

And, indeed, the Shushan trademarks – timelessness, grace, uncluttered elegance – abound in this new collection of eighteen classically-wrought and comfortable pieces -- chairs, ottomans, stools, a signature bed -- offered in the new Marjorie Shushan Collection.

What makes the Marjorie Shushan Collection a stand-out is the passion and attention apparent in every piece. “My personal touch is evident in all my work and the same attention applies to the new Marjorie Shushan Studio."
